SBA MAGI FUNDEDADVANCED MANUFACTURING INITIATIVE

Transforming Small Manufacturers Through Advanced Technology

The CSS E2G Training Initiative is a 12-month, hands-on, in-person program that uses Chippewa Sustainable Solutions' own transformation into a living production laboratory — giving E2G-eligible small manufacturers direct access to advanced additive manufacturing, friction stir welding, CNC production, and the full digital manufacturing stack.

A Living Production Laboratory

CSS is not a training center that teaches manufacturing — we are a manufacturer that teaches. Our own transformation from legacy production into advanced additive manufacturing and friction stir welding is the curriculum. Participants work alongside CSS engineers on real production challenges, not simulations.

Why CSS

From Legacy to Leading Edge — CSS Proves It's Possible

Chippewa Sustainable Solutions began as a traditional manufacturer. Today, we operate one of the region's most advanced additive manufacturing and friction stir welding production environments. That transformation — every challenge, every investment, every process breakthrough — is the foundation of this program. We don't teach theory. We share what we've built.

Real production environment — not a classroom or simulation lab
SBA MAGI-backed credibility and structured program accountability
Chippewa region economic development focus — local impact, national standards
Cohort-based model with peer manufacturer collaboration
Technical assistance continues beyond training — CSS stays engaged
