Eligibility & Application

The CSS E2G program is available at no cost to eligible small manufacturers. Review the criteria below and submit your application inquiry to begin the intake process.

Core Eligibility Criteria

SBA Small Business Status

Your firm must qualify as a small business under applicable SBA size standards for your NAICS code.

Manufacturing NAICS Code

Your primary business activity must fall under a manufacturing NAICS code (Sector 31–33).

Employee Count

Fewer than 500 employees, or within the applicable SBA size threshold for your specific NAICS code.

U.S.-Based Operations

Your manufacturing operations must be based in the United States with domestic production activity.

Technology Readiness Intent

Your firm must demonstrate readiness or documented intent to adopt advanced manufacturing technologies.

Program Commitment

Authorized representative must commit to 12-month program participation and cohort engagement requirements.

Submit Inquiry

Complete the application form below. Provide your firm's basic information, NAICS code, employee count, and a brief description of your manufacturing operations and technology goals.

Eligibility Review

CSS program staff will review your submission against E2G eligibility criteria within 5 business days and contact you to confirm eligibility status.

03

Intake Interview

Eligible firms are scheduled for a 60-minute intake interview with a CSS program engineer to assess current capabilities and align program objectives.

04

Cohort Assignment

Confirmed participants are assigned to the next available cohort. Cohort slots are limited — early application is encouraged.
